Ask the Expert: Sabrina- Organic Airbrush vs. Tanning Beds

Tanning beds are more and more recognized as being just as harmful to your body as the sun.  They may cost a fraction less and last a little longer, but the effects can have a permanent effect on the aging of your skin and even cause skin cancer.  While with a custom organic airbrush tan, it lasts 7 to 10 days and costs on average $40-50.  With organic spray, there is no fragrance or alcohol and is paraben free.  Your spray tan will take approximately 15 minutes to apply and dries extremely fast.  There is usually a variety of shades to choose from; ranging from medium to very dark.  By far, airbrush tanning is safer and much more effective.

Ask the Expert: Jamie- Long Lasting Bronze Effect

Here's how to achieve a long lasting bronze effect!

Put on your base makeup first, then before you powder, put on your bronzer. When you are applying your
bronzer be careful to focus mostly on the outer area of your face, only apply
lightly in the center of your face. Next powder over your face with a
colorless, or translucent powder. Putting your bronzer on top of your base will
insure that it stays on longer. For a more dramatic bronzed effect you can
apply a little more bronzer after you have powdered.

Try this out next time you are looking for a "golden goddess" effect!

Custom Organic Airbrush Spray Tan

Sick of those unhealthy tanning beds and oompa-loompa like turbo spray downs?  Us, too.

We have embarked on a new future for healthy, natural-looking tans- organic custom airbrush tanning.

Contact the studio to secure an artist to provide a tan for your special occasion, spring break/vacation prep, to beat that winter pale tone, or simply for fun!

These sessions take about 15-20 minutes and can be done in the studio or at your home.  Our equipment and filtering system travels well and will not damage any surroundings (i.e. tan carpet).

Colors are custom blended based on the level of tan you would like to achieve compared to your beginning shade.  Tans can also be built up over multiple sessions.

$40/session individually
$35/session when you book 3
$35/person for a group of 5
$35/person and $20 for the hostess for a group bigger than 5

*Please plan to spray tan 24 hours prior to a special event
*All bookings are by appointment only

Happy Tanning!

A Huge Thank You!

Hello, Friends-

We just want to say a huge thank you to all that attended the Grand Opening Gala for the studio!  It was overwhelming wonderful to have such great support from our fellow "Sempletons" at the Mansion, vendors, clients, friends, and family.  We had over 200 guests, gave away over $7,500 in vendor donations, and got to take the time to give celebration its necessary attention.

We were able to send out hand-written thank-you's to the vendors that donated, event vendor sponsors, and all guests that signed the guest book; but we know there are a whole lot more gracious guests that attended that we weren't able to reach that way.  So, we just also wanted to give a big group thank you online for everyone in attendance and for your continued support.  We couldn't do this without you!

Thanks, again!

Cheers,

The Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios Team
